Most people underestimate the risk of coming into contact with flu viruses because they’re invisible. What if we could make them visible?
In cozy pop-up spaces across German cities with the lowest flu vaccination rates, visitors were invited to relax with free coffee and treats, unaware that the rooms were coated in UV paint symbolizing flu viruses. Under UV light, we revealed where they’d “picked up” these imaginary viruses, emphasizing the importance of protection. Star Horst Lichter shared his personal story about battling the flu, making the message even more impactful. An onsite info booth provided flu facts and offered immediate vaccination opportunities.
